‘Interstellar mother ship’ spotted near Jupiter sends boffins into overdrive

The mind-boggling image shows Jupiter glowing on the left and a strange object shining brightly to the right of the planet.

The structure, resembling an “interstellar mother ship” or an “intergalactic cruiser” was spotted moving in the direction of the moon Europa by space nut Louis Read.

Louis, from Bristol, sent the video footage to SecureTeam, an online research outlet for alien phenomenon, after the image was taken last week.

Experts believe Europa’s cosmic rivers and waterfalls offer the best home to space beings and could even contain tiny interstellar organisms right now.

Onlookers are now speculating about whether the glowing orbit could actually be multiple structures put together.

Tyler adds: “One thing for sure is that this definitely doesn’t belong there and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if this was some sort of alien craft.”

Scientists have been getting excited about Europa for some time.

UK Space Agency research fellow Dr Lewis Dartnell said: “It’s possible actually that the chances of life today are better on Europa than Mars.

“It has a global ocean. In many ways it is the Waterworld of our Solar System.”

After the incredible footage of the mothership, SecureTeam now believe Europa will be NASA’s big next mission.

Tyler said: “Europa will likely be one of NASA’s next missions where we will send a probe and hopefully it will be a manned mission where we can land on the surface and drill down into the ice.

“Get a camera down there and check out what’s in the ocean underneath.”

The sighting comes just days after top secret CIA files unearthed hidden sightings and a UFO was spotted “tracking the International Space Station”.
