Stunning clip reveals baby”s STILL BEATING heart in hospital dish after being removed

Incredible footage has surfaced showing the moment a baby boy’s old heart continued beating after it was extracted during a life-saving organ transplant operation.

Henry – who is just five months old – was successfully fitted with a new heart after spending his entire life battling illness in hospital.

His proud parents Sam and Mollie Dolan uploaded the footage to a Facebook group chronicling Henry’s journey called “Hope for Henry”.

During the crucial operation, Sam and Mollie ran live updates on their Facebook page, keeping their almost 6,000-strong following in the loop about Henry’s progress.

The updates – which were provided by doctors inside the operating room – included photos of the brave infant undergoing the critical surgery.

Among the astonishing posts was an incredible clip of Henry’s old heart still beating inside a small bowl, after it was removed from his chest.

The Dolan’s final update featured emotional footage of the young infant’s “perfect” heartbeat after the successful operation.

The family – who are from Annandale, Minnesota – welcomed Henry into the world on May 2.

But after being diagnosed with a serious heart condition, the Dolan’s were told their son would need a transplant to save his life.

After five months of painful waiting, a donor heart finally became available and fortunately Henry’s transplant went ahead without a hitch.

This isn’t the first time a crucial heart surgery operation has been broadcast to the world – earlier this year .
