Experts have been stunned by the huge prints, which apparently could not belong to any other known animal.
According to locals there has been a 14 month gap since the last evidence of a Yeti was seen in Siberia.
But the latest evidence discovered in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia is believed to by fresh proof of the abominable snow man.
“And they are not human. The toe are pressed, and the trace of the heel is barely noticeable. Apparently, he is walking quietly, almost silently.”
Alexander Shadrin, the head of the Eryomino village council, revealed that he too had seen a Yeti 36 miles away from the footprint sighting.
Shadrin said on September 17 he came face to face with a Yeti while it was terrorising cows.
He said: “I was greatly scared”.
Shadrin described the creature as “all hairy” and “light silver” in colour.
He added: “After the cows ran away, I saw glowing eyes in the dark. At first I thought it was a calf that had lagged behind.
“And when I was some 15 metres from this creature and lit it with my headlight, I realised what it really was – and even my heels turned cold.”
Last week incredible footage claimed to have captured Bigfoot walking through a waterfall.
And last month a YouTube sensation claimed he saw Bigfoot touching himself in his garden.
