Incredible footage captured by another vehicle on the track shows the Renault Megane fly up the inside of the filming car, attempting to take a corner at more than 120mph.
The white car skids on the grass verge aligning the track, sending it careering out of control to smash into the fence opposite.
After battering into the metal fence, the car is lifted skyward, performing a front flip to land on its roof, rolling sideways a further six times before finally coming to a stop.
Debris scatters the track behind as the driver following stops his car to run over and rescue the stricken driver.
Miraculously, the driver reportedly escaped without serious injury.
More than 19,000 people have seen the clip since it was posted on Reddit earlier this week, although it is unclear exactly when the video was shot.
“That car remained remarkably intact,” one viewer stated.
Another comment read: “When I drove the Nurburgring two years ago they showed a safety video beforehand with some crashes and described the dangers of that track.
“Sudden turns, small hills and crests with a turn right after, and the ‘foxhole’ which is a combination of all the worst traits of a racetrack. singles around “foxhole”
“Apparently it”s about €1000 per meter of fence you destroy on top of the cost of the car.”
This bloke better get his credit card at the ready.
Earlier this year, incredible footage emerged purporting to show a woman’s body leaving her soul after a deadly motorbike crash.
The video, shot in Thailand, went viral after the mysterious phenomenon was spotted by a YouTube user.
