Sissy Arias, 29, was working on the doomed passenger jet as it flew to Medellin.

Her father, Jorge Arias, who is famous Colombian journalist published the sad news on social media.

He wrote: “I hope God will keep her in his glory. My girl, I love you, I loved you and I will always love you.

“Love, I do not know what my life will be without you. Sisyta, my girl forever.”

Nine staff are believed to have been working on the plane, with only two surviving the wreckage.

Ximena Suarez, an air hostess, and Edwin Tumiri, the technician on the plane, were pulled out the mangled remains of the plane.

The plane was due to land at 9.33pm but lost contact with the control tower while flying in the mountainous area known as La Ceja.

Six survivors were rescued from the crashed flight, but one died later in hospital.

Authorities struggled for hours in treacherous weather conditions in the remote area before confirming the death toll.

Members of the Chapecoense Brazilian football team were on the flight on the way to the final of Copa Sudamerica – South America”s second biggest cup.

Tragically the players had changed flights at the last moment for an unknown reason.

An investigation is taking place to find out the reason for the plane crash.
