Georgina Symonds, 25, allegedly had an intimate photo of property tycoon Peter Morgan, 54, with another escort which she planned to send to his wife.

Morgan gave Georgina huge sums of money and lavished her with gifts including helicopter rides and spa days to ensure she did not see anyone else during their affair.

But he strangled her on January 12 after realising that she planned to leave him after “fleecing” him, the court heard.

A recording device planted in his property picked up a conversation between the buxom blonde and her new boyfriend, in which she planned to use a photo of married dad-of-two Morgan to force him into giving her thousands of pounds after she left.

Georgina”s mum Deborah Symonds told the court: “I”m aware that Georgina had been threatening Morgan.

“She threatened to tell everyone everything about him and thought she could ruin him.”

The court heard Morgan was married to wife Helen but the couple became estranged after she found out about his cheating with escorts.

Mrs Symonds said: “Morgan was up to no good behind his wife”s back and Georgina had evidence of this, with which she would blackmail him with.

“She said he kept £50,000 in cash at home that he was hiding from the taxman and had built properties that hadn”t been passed by building regulation.

“She also had evidence on her phone that Morgan was taking call girls back to his house when he was married to his wife. He was up to no good behind her back.”

Mrs Symonds told Newport Crown Court Morgan – worth £20million – would “pay for everything” and her daughter “liked the finer things in life”.

Morgan is accused of murdering the mum-of-one by strangling her with a homemade ligature at her bungalow home which he paid for.

Prosecutor William Hughes said: “Georgina said once she had the bungalow she would do Peter Morgan over and carry on getting money off him by blackmailing him.

“Georgina had a photograph of him that could cause grief. It was a picture of him with another escort in his family home.”

The trial continues.
