Four people are in hospital after being attacked by a dog in north Manchester.
Police said all the victims, including one child, have suffered serious injuries.
Initially the dog, an American Bulldog, was left trapped inside the house while police tried to control the scene but the dog has now been seized.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said they were called to Bluestone Road in Moston just before 1pm to reports that a dog had attacked four people.
The victims ages are currently unknown.
Police said in a statement earlier today: ‘Police were called shortly after 12.50pm today (Wednesday 30 November 2016) to a home on Bluestone Road, Moston, to a report of a dog out of control.
‘Officers attended and discovered an American Bulldog-type dog had attacked four people.
‘They have all attended hospital and it is not yet clear what injuries have been sustained.
‘The dog is currently contained in the property and officers are at the scene.’
