SHOCK VID Cop “pins man to floor and punches him repeatedly in face”


Dramatic footage of the incident which appears to show the cop throwing punches while pinning the suspect to the floor was shared thousands of times on Facebook.

West Mercia Police confirmed they had referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission “due to the injuries the man received during his arrest”.

Head of Professional Standards, Detective Superintendent Gary Watson, said: “West Mercia Police are aware of this video which has been posted on social media, however no formal complaints have been made at this time.

“A man has been charged with assaulting a police officer and is due to appear in court.

“Due to injuries the man received during his arrest, the matter will now be referred to the IPCC.”

Following the incident, Agnis Martin Krauze, 22, of Dilwyn, Herefordshire, was charged with the assault of a police officer executing their duty.

He was also charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place and obstructing an officer executing their duty.

He is due to appear at Hereford Magistrates Court on January 19.
