Confident Phil? Hammond hints at GOOD NEWS budget AFTER General Election

Phillip Hammond was appointed by incoming prime minister Theresa May, ousting predecessor George Osbourne who this week revealed he was stepping down as an MP in the wake of the snap election.

Mr Hammond, who has been in the post less than a year, could also lose his job when voters go the polls in June, but remains optimistic and has declared a new direction in the budget could be on the horizon after the results are in.
